My Shepard

I'm a citizen of heaven
this world is not my home
I'm only here to learn what's right
till Jusus calls his own

I need to read the bible
and study all the books
Learn to treat my neighbor nice
and how to do what's good

I have to start to love
the people that I hate
And pray for those who need help
teach them that God is great

I am just an infant child
like a new born sheep
But Jesus is my shepard
and his flock he soon will reep

With faith I learn to stand tall
and flourish in his love
Till the clouds part and he takes me
back to heaven up above
