Hi, my name is Jolie, and nobody
knows what kind of dog I am. (If you think you know, email one of my people.)
I love my people very much and I always obey them. I really like to please
them because they always tell me what a good girl I am. My people taught me
lots of tricks which I enjoy doing because I always get a treat afterward.
I love homemade treats, dinner, long walks, curled-up naps, and chasing squirrels.
I hate motorcycles, skunks, and other dogs with attitudes. Gotta go, I have
a fresh raw hide waiting for me.
XO, Jolie
Jolie (pronounced "Joe-lee", means "Beautiful" in French) is the newest addition to the Hodge household. She was adopted July 22, 2000, at a Best Friends animal adoption event at the La Brea Tar Pits. She has attained somewhat of a celebrity status in the neighborhood -- typical remarks include: "What kind of dog is she?" "She is so beautiful!" "Can I pet her?" Neighbors walk by and give her liver snaps through the fence to gain her affection. Others defend her doggie rights.
