Baked French Fries

What You'll Need

  1. 1 tablespoon vinegar

  2. water

  3. 3 potatoes

  4. vegetable oil

  5. 3 tablespoons margarine

  6. salt

What To Do

  • Measure the vinegar into a bowl, and add water to almost the top of the bowl

  • Peel the potatoes, and slice them into thin French fry strips

  • Drop the potatoes into the bowl of vinegar water after you slice them

  • Soak for 5 minutes

  • Remove the potatoes and pat dry with a paper towel

  • Lightly oil a cookie sheet with oil using a paper towel

  • Put the potato strips on the cookie sheet

  • Melt the margarine, drizzle it over the potatoes, and toss them to coat evenly

  • Sprinkle them with salt (You can also use paprika, onion powder, or other seasonings to give your potatoes a zing)

  • bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 375 degrees

  • Remove and let cool before enjoying your snack
